Hi, I’m Shelly Marchant, a Vet Nurse here at Lawn Vets.
I grew up in Salisbury, where I did my training as a Veterinary nurse & qualified in 2003.
I moved to Swindon in 2006 & have been working as a vet nurse here at the Lawn Veterinary Centre since April 2007.
I have always loved animals and I had a dog, rabbits, hamsters, birds & fish as a child, then as a part time job in the school holidays I worked at a Boarding Kennels.
I enjoy working at Lawns as because we are a small practice you get to know the patients & their owners, which I think benefits everyone.
I now have two dogs, both from rescue centers ,which I adore, a 12 year old Staffordshire bull terrier, called Dougie – and a 5 year old staffie cross, called Beetle.
In my spare time I enjoy going out for long walks in the countryside with the dogs, I also enjoy swimming & running.
